Ketan Garg

Ketan Garg, a former Indian first-class cricketer, began his career at just 18, debuting for Arunachal Pradesh. He was part of the Delhi Capitals camp squad in 2019, showcasing his skill and dedication to the game. Now an ECB-qualified Level 2 coach, Ketan specializes in batting and shares his expertise as a coach at Fulham Cricket Club. Additionally, he serves as Hub Supervisor and Coach at Platform Cricket and is the MCC Foundation Hub Manager for Hammersmith (2023), mentoring the next generation of cricketers with passion and precision.

Misem Zaidi

Misem Zaidi began his cricketing journey with Essex County, progressing from U9 level to the academy programme. At 18, he made his first-class debut for Cambridge University and later played for Northamptonshire’s Second XI as a leg-spinner. With years of competitive experience, Misem is now dedicated to coaching the next generation, helping players develop their skills and knowledge. Beyond cricket, he trains in MMA and focuses on helping athletes enhance strength, speed, and overall performance.

Shashi Malik

Shashi Malik, an accomplished left-arm spinner, has represented Delhi in domestic cricket and is an ECB Level 2 coach and strength and conditioning specialist. She focuses on enhancing players’ technical skills and fitness to ensure peak performance. With a Master’s in Sports Science and experience from the National Fast Bowling Academy, Shashi’s comprehensive coaching approach makes her an asset to the LCCA team.

Gagan Dissanayake

Gagan Dissanayake brings passion and expertise to the game, drawing from his rich cricketing journey that began in Sri Lanka at the age of 10. A key player for Broxbourne Cricket Club in the Hertfordshire Saracens Cricket League Championship Division, Gagan combines on-field experience with a deep commitment to coaching.

Jack Hunter-Lees

Jack is a talented all-round sportsman with over 9 years of coaching experience. An ECB Level 2 coach, he brings great energy to sessions and works confidently with players of all abilities. Jack recently trained at the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy and is trialling with counties as a batting all-rounder. He plays club cricket at Spencer and was a sports scholar at Millfield. A skilled footballer, Jack played for AFC Wimbledon and Arsenal Academy and is also a qualified football coach.

Omar Green

Omar Green, an ECB Level 3 coach, has 15+ years of experience across all levels of cricket. A senior coach for the ACE and Surrey Performance Programmes, Omar combines a Sports Science background (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PGCE) with coaching expertise. Featured in The Guardian Teaching 100 (2021), Omar focuses on creating positive, skill-enriching experiences for players. Soon to become a coach educator, he emphasizes the lifelong benefits of sport and movement.

Abhimanyu Pandey

Abhi is a first-class wicketkeeper-batter from India with an ECB Level 2 qualification and extensive coaching experience. He has played Ranji Trophy for Madhya Pradesh, represented West Zone in the Vizzy Trophy, and played as a club professional for top UK clubs, including Premier League Epping CC. A specialist wicketkeeping coach, Abhi is passionate about developing players' skills behind the stumps.

Radha Marripati

Radha Marripati, a professional cricketer with a stellar domestic career for Hyderabad, holds a world record for the highest score in T20 cricket in India. A dynamic batter and medium-pacer, Radha has 5+ years of experience in player strategy and performance management. Now an ECB Level 2 coach and Digital Subscription Manager at MCC, she combines technical expertise with passion to mentor and inspire future cricketers through her coaching roles at LCCA and beyond.

Chander Kaul

Chander Kaul is a former Indian international cricketer, having played 5 Tests and 31 ODIs from 1993 to 2000, including captaining the team in 1999. A skilled right-handed batter, she also played domestic cricket for Middlesex.
An ECB Level 3 coach with 15+ years of experience, Chander is dedicated to nurturing young talent. She develops impactful programs for players aged 5-15, inspiring the next generation with her expertise and passion for cricket.

Anthony De Mel

Anthony De Mel is a senior ECB-qualified cricket coach with expertise across performance and participation pathways. With 15 years of teaching experience at Sussex House, Anthony works with players of all ages and abilities. Also qualified in football and rugby, he ensures a safe and supportive environment with certifications in first aid and safeguarding. Anthony’s adaptable coaching style and dedication make him an invaluable part of the team.

 

Shahbaz

Shahbaz moved to England from Afghanistan in 2021 and has represented his country at U15, U17, and U19 levels. He plays for the 1st Team at Normandy and is an ECB Level 2 coach. An opening batter, off-spinner, and one of the best fielders around, Shahbaz is trialling with counties this year and aims to secure a professional contract by summer 2025.

Emma Stringer

Coach Emma is one of our founder coaches and most experienced members of staff. Emma is head of Health and Safety at the club and also leads on our participation programme whilst also mentoring a number of our junior coaches. Emma has over 25 years of coaching experience and is also in charge of Sport at the local Sulivan Primary School. Emma is a fully qualified ECB coach and is fully qualified in first aid and child protection. She is also a fully qualified football coach and used to work for Fulham FC.

Matthew Luddington

Matthew Luddington is a Level 2 cricket coach with extensive experience coaching players from beginners to county-level. His coaching philosophy focuses on creating fun, engaging, and challenging sessions that build skills and deepen understanding of the game. His goal is to inspire a lifelong passion for cricket in every player. As a cricketer, Matthew plays as a batsman for Epsom 1st XI and once dismissed Brian Lara in a charity game—bowled Luddington, caught Sangakkara!

Zia Maliky

Zia Maliky, an ECB Level 2 coach from Afghanistan, is an off-spinning all-rounder and the founder of a successful cricket club in his home country. With a proven ability to work with players of all ages and abilities, Zia brings a wealth of experience and passion for the game. His commitment to cricket is reflected in his coaching style and his dedication to developing talent, including his own children, who play for his club.
